Alexander Skarsg্ডrd is talking about how labeling “sexy” has damaged his career.
The “Northman” actor says Sunday Times How the landing on the sexy list prevents people from taking her seriously.

“[A]After my first job, I was on a stupid ‘sexy hunky hot list’ and then people didn’t take me seriously, “he said.
“If you want deep-seated characters but are labeled ‘a friend who takes off his shirt,’ you’re not going to get those offers,” Scarsgard explained.
He also touched on how he changed his role in “Zulander”. “I went to audition for the role of a girl’s boyfriend who was killed in four scenes of a low budget horror movie.”

The “Legacy” star mentioned that she “doesn’t really know” if that’s why she’s not getting the kind of role she wanted in North America.
