Oscar viewers took Amy Schumer’s jokes very seriously.

The 2022 show host, Schumer, chatted with Howard Stern on his show on Wednesday, confirming that Kirsten Dunst had received death threats after making a joke about being a seat filler.

Dunst was nominated for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her role in “The Power of the Dog”.

“I have received death threats,” Schumer said. The Secret Service reached out to me, it was too bad … about that, “the Los Angeles Police Department called him.

Schumer insisted that Dunst and his partner Jesse Plemons were both joking.

He said the LAPD contacted him because the threats were “so serious and so many”.

Schumer also told Stern that he had interacted with everyone mentioned in his jokes before the show, including Leonardo DiCaprio, whom he joked about having a little girlfriend.

DiCaprio replied, “Go ahead.”
