Cameron Whitcomb and Tristan Gracett teamed up for Sunday night’s “American Idol” “Both Crazy”.

The dynamic pairing for the cover of Credence Clearwater Revival’s “Have You Ever Seen the Rain”, who “always talks nonsense,” quickly goes from stupid to serious.

Whitcomb, 18, “doubted” himself before the high-powered performance because he never “really” sang in front of a crowd.

However, Canadian singer Gresset, 17, was ready to “nut”, and they certainly brought “crazy” to the stage with their electrical performances that garnered standing praise from judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Bryan.

Whitcomb celebrates with one of his signature backflips.

Gressett and Whitcomb both advanced to the next round, starting tonight in Monday’s “Shostpars” episode.
