Chris Stapleton dedicated his twin children’s birthday to join the Grammys

Chris Stapleton picked up some impressive prizes at the Grammys on Sunday night, but he had to make sacrifices to do so.

The “Fire Away” country singer admitted during the ceremony when he received his award for Best Country Album. Starting again, Another important event happened at the same time as the biggest night of that music.

“Today is my twin’s birthday – they’re four years old. So I’m thinking a lot about leaving because I missed some of their birthdays today, “Stapleton shared.

“Everyone in this room has made some kind of sacrifice to do this work here. And I don’t know what it is for everyone, but I know it hurts sometimes, ”he continued.

Stapleton, who has won titles over Brothers Osborne and Miranda Lambert among others, added that he hopes music can “make the world a better place” and bring people together.

The 43-year-old hitmaker was awarded Grammy for Best Country Solo Performance for “You Should Probably Live” and Best Country Song for “Cold”, which he performed live during the awards show.

Stapleton shares with his wife, Morgan, sons Macon and Samuel, who were his dates at the Grammys. The couple also shared an older child, Waylon and Ada, as well as a fifth child born in 2019.
