In ‘American Idol’, Bruno Mars hits Leah Merlin and Fritz fights

A “weird” yet “amazing couple”, Leah Marlene of “American Idol” and Fritz have a wonderful duet.

During Hollywood Week, the young singers began the show with a twist on Bruno Mars’s “Locked Out of Heaven,” which brought judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Bryan to their feet.

The performance, which was “what it was like to be a duet”, allowed both artists to bring out the best in each other, as Richie mentioned in the video above.

The contestants, including “Tim Green”, were confronted by Taylor Fagins and Alegra Miles, who teamed up for their own duet on the same track, which can be seen in the clip below. However, they could not advance to the next round.
