Lizo speaks of ‘terrible’ ‘SNL’ presence, admits she’s scared Kate McKinnon

In a new interview with SiriusXM’s “The Morning Mash Up”, Lizzo talks about double duty hosting and serving as a musical guest on this weekend’s “Saturday Night Live”.

The rapper was asked if he would go ahead and say “I want it”, to which he replied, “It’s really scary. No, but I think they came to me … I don’t mean to say I don’t want it because if I didn’t want it, I couldn’t do it.

He went on to reveal whether “SNL” officials allowed him to get involved and share his own ideas.

Elsewhere in the interview, Lizo also talks about creating her own shapewear brand Itty and whether she was inspired by Kim Kardashian’s scheme line.

He shared, “This shapeware line took five years and so it was before Kim’s line. I was excited when it dropped, because I was, it made sure I was right you guys.

“I had a lot of meetings with the company and they didn’t believe in my shapewear approach. They were, ‘Well, no one is really doing shapeware. So you want lingerie or … ‘And I want,’ No friends, listen, shapewear is the future and we have to revolutionize it. ‘

“And Fabletics believed me … I had my first meeting five years ago and developed three years.

“I did not wear anything before. I stopped wearing bras. I stopped wearing panties for a while because I rebelled like girdles and shapewear and corsets and accessories.
