Michael Bubble is teaching the world about Canadian food.

Participating in the “Food Court” section of “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert”, the singer described Canadian food as “unique, incredible, delicious, fat” and then tried to repeat “unique”.

He joked that his relationship with maple syrup was “personal.”

“It’s up to me what I do in my bedroom,” Bubli said.

“There’s nothing more Canadian than making a maple syrup toffee in the snow if you don’t eat a bag of ketchup chips with a little putty and make it with Celine Dion.”

Bubli wasn’t sure what the beaver’s tails were but thought it might be “sex”. Picking American bacon over Canadian bacon “hit” him, “I don’t like Canadian bacon.”

“Let me tell my American friends,” Bubli said. “If you’ve never been to Caesar yourself … I know it sounds weird, but it’s the best in the world.”

“Go to Canada, get a bunch of Caesar, get yourself sexy, get a bunch of maple syrup (if you know what I mean) and slap around the beaver’s tail.”

Bubli’s other point is the “unhealthy obsession” of Canadians with divisions and ketchup over pineapple in pizza.

“The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” airs on Global Weekdays at 11:35 pm.

Bubli’s new album High love Out now.
