Miley Cyrus tested positive for COVID-19 after playing for 100,000 people

As a result of Miley Cyrus’ tour of South America, the singer tested positive for COVID-19.

On Friday, the “Slide Away” singer shared the news.

Cyrus tweeted, “Traveling around the world, playing for 100,000 people in one night and meeting hundreds of fans during the day is much more likely to be cowardly,” Cyrus tweeted. “I have Covid now but it was definitely worth it.”

Cyrus also expressed her frustration that this meant she would not be able to perform at the party to attend Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler’s Jenny’s Fund Grammy Awards.

“I miss Johnny’s Fund because it’s a charity that is very important to me and my friend Steven Tyler. I feel good so don’t worry about me, “said Cyrus.

Adding, “Sorry Steven! We have to walk this way again!”

Cyrus is touring South America with stops in Paraguay, Chile, Colombia and Brazil, where he was admitted to the Fu Fighters during Lolapaluza after the death of drummer Taylor Hawkins.
