Mo’Nique and Lee Daniels have settled their differences just in time for their new Netflix movie.
Mo’Nique will replace Octavia Spencer in the Exorcism film “Demon House”. Spencer had to be dropped due to a schedule conflict.
Daniels and Monique previously worked together on “Valuable” in 2009. He later accused Daniels, Oprah Winfrey and Tyler Perry of blackballing him when he did not promote the film during the awards season.

Monique said it was not in her contract to do so. All three have denied any wrongdoing. According to DeadlineThe two have not spoken for 13 years but have been gone ever since.
Mo’Nique sued Netflix in 2019 over a joke specifically to pay him less, claiming that Amy Schumer made 26 times the $ 500,000 she made.
The actress will play the role of a social worker who helps a family through multiple deception. Also starring Andrea Day, Glenn Close, Rob Morgan, Caleb McLaughlin and Anjanu Ellis.
