Nick Lachi wants to see Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck in a reboot

Nick Lachie knows who he wants to star in a remake of his hit reality show

In an interview with his band 98 Degrees on “Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yountef”, the host asked him about a possible reboot from his 2003 reality show “Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica”.

“If they were going to re-cast ‘Bride’ today, who do you think would be a good couple?” Maybe Justin Bieber and Haley? Iontef asked.

“I mean, we have to go to Ben Affleck and JLO right now, don’t we?” He answered immediately. “I mean, let’s go, all the heat falls on those two and slips, let them take the torch.”

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez recently announced their engagement on Instagram, after reviving their romance. The two were previously engaged in 2002, when he proposed with a memorable pink ring, but rejected it in 2004.

The conversation turns to Lachi’s current relationship with his wife, Vanessa Lachi, whom he married in 2011. When the possibility of a reality show following the two arose, the singer was reluctant.

“No, we will never do that. Now, it’s just a different landscape, “he shared. “We have kids and there is no real urge for us to do something like that.”

Latche filmed three seasons of “Bride: Nick and Jessica” with his ex-wife, pop star Jessica Simpson, when they were married between 2002 – 2006.

Although he was not interested in doing a reality show on his current marriage, Latch hosts shows with his wife like “Love is Blind” and has a passion for them.

“We enjoy reality TV, obviously. I love it, and for us, we love to host it and be involved in other ways, but not necessarily to be part of the Fly on Fly on the Wall show, ”he added.
