Nicki Minaj joins James Corden for the first “Carpool Karaoke” segment in two years, and the famous rapper has proven to be the funniest, most exciting guest ever.

The long segment has belted out the pair as one of Minaj’s biggest hits, as well as getting personal and deep passages.

In a particularly candid moment, the 39-year-old “Anaconda” artist reflects on his own struggles with anxiety and builds a wall of confidence while being at the center of the media spotlight.

“I think when I was younger, I was more normal and more confident. But I think when you are a woman and you are always in the public eye, you can become less confident if you are not careful because you are constantly being investigated, “Minaj shared. “It simply came to our notice then. It’s not uncommon for a person to feel that everyone is criticizing them. “

Minaj explained that when he first became an artist in the music industry, “I had this amazing sense of freedom because no one gave me what I was doing. For example, I could run away with anything.”

“And then it goes completely, completely opposite to that. If I turn a blind eye by mistake, it will create a story for them about why I turn a blind eye, ”he added. “Whenever I’m away from social media and I turn off my phone, I have this feeling of immense peace. And then you realize what really matters.”

For Minaj, her 1-year-old son is really important, whom she shares with husband Kenneth Petty.

“[Motherhood] Plays a huge role [in feeling peace]”It doesn’t matter what happens,” said Minaj. “When I look at my son, I fall in love with the witch. He just makes me laugh, makes me laugh, makes me happy. He’s very nice and hug.”

“I rap and sing to him all the time,” he added with a smile. “I just make tunes all day.”

During the drive, Minaj also reveals her Adele impressions, and weighs in on the cover of her “Monster” rap English singer, which Adele distributed in an installment of “Carpool Karaoke” in 2016.

“He made me so happy. He portrayed Nicki Minaj,” the rapper said, influencing a mispronunciation of English pronunciation, before serving his verses from “Monster” on a split-screen with Adele’s performance years ago.

Really, it was “Carpool Karaoke” that segment fans were waiting for and delivering.

Corden spoke to reporters at a press panel during the airing of the new installment of “Carpool Karaoke” on Wednesday morning and said that as soon as the show received “go-ahead” by the network, he turned to the right, keeping in mind the security precautions. Minaj is his first guest.

“I didn’t want to bring back this part of a better artist than him,” Corden said.

“[The segment] Corden said it was beyond my wildest dreams, reflecting on how Minaj was “so open” during the segment and how he was “probably the weakest” in a pictorial environment.

“It was very hard to cut,” Corden admits, “maybe there’s a 45-minute cut that’s really interesting.”
