Swedish House to replace Mafia and Weekend Kanye West as head coach

Swedish House Mafia X The Weekend will perform together in the new Kochla lineup.

The Weekend shared the news on Twitter with a poster of the lineup on Wednesday.

“I’m looking forward to the moment when the Swedish House Mafia and Weekend end this Sunday night slot,” said Paul Tollett, president / CEO of Kochella promoter GoldenVoice. Diversity. “Kochler has a special relationship with Abel and I am grateful for this upcoming performance with these iconic artists on the same stage.”

They teamed up with Harry Styles and Billy Ilish as the festival’s headliner, the Sunday slot was previously occupied by Connie West. The rapper canceled his appearance Monday without giving a reason, although he had previously threatened to walk out of the festival if Billy Ilish did not apologize to Travis Scott for the little he felt during one of his concerts. The musician also moved away from a performance for the 2020 festival days before the lineup was announced.

West was scheduled to perform at Grammys on Sunday, but was barred from appearing due to “online behavior related” reasons.

The Weekend previously had festival titles in 2018 and performed in 2012.

The Cochela Valley Music and Arts Festival is held April 15-17 and April 22-24 in Indio, California.
