Taron Egerton tested positive for COVID-19, missed Cock Performance

Taron Egerton Tested positive for COVID-19.
The ‘Kingsman’ actor has been forced to withdraw from this week’s performance of ‘Cock’ in the West End of London after being infected with the virus, which means that student Joel Harper-Jackson will take part in M in his place.
The show’s producers announced in a statement shared online: “Taron Egerton unfortunately tested positive for Covid.
“According to the production’s health protection protocol, he will be disconnected now and we hope Tarn returns to the show next week.”
Earlier this month, Joel had to take Tarn’s place on the opening night of production after the ‘Rocketman’ star fainted.
The 32-year-old star later wrote on Instagram: “Some of you may have heard, I left during COCK’s first performance last night.
“I am just fine. Slight neck and a wounded ego, but I’m fine.
“I decided to put a positive spin on it and I would appreciate it if anyone in the theater just said last night that I gave such a committed, electrical performance that my body couldn’t handle it and check it out.
“It simply came to our notice then. (sic) “
Tarn praised his “amazing” study.
His post continued: “I’ll be back tomorrow night with revenge. That you are on the amazing team of the theater and to my great cast companions for being so beautiful.
“But I wanted to thank Joel Harper Jackson for doing the last bit of the play.
“Joel is an amazing actor and a beautiful person. Thank you, Joel. TX. (Sic)”
The production team also released a statement after Taran fainted on stage.
The statement read: “During the first preview of Mike Bartlett’s play ‘Cock’ at the Ambassadors Theater this evening, Tarn Egerton fainted at the end of the performance.
“A doctor in the audience went to Tarn immediately after the incident, and when he felt better, it was decided that Joel Harper-Jackson, Tarn’s student, would be in the role to complete the performance.”
