Juds returned to their winning TV show Monday at this year’s CMT Music Awards. Legendary mother-daughter duo Naomi and Winona Jude have performed together for over 20 years for their first television issue.

The duo was introduced by country singer Casey Musgraves in downtown Nashville, where they performed their 1990 hit song “Love Can Build a Bridge” on an outdoor stage, adorned with “The Juds” written across it.

The pair did not let some wind and adverse weather stop them from delivering a memorable set, as they were by the side of singers dressed in bright white attire in the strong winds.

The performance was held in front of the Iconic Country Music Hall of Fame – an indication of their upcoming 2022 inclusion.

The pre-taped performance at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium was also played on a large screen while Naomi and Wayonona showered love on the audience.

Juds is often celebrated for a rarely interrupted stretch of 14 No. 1 hits. The duo has sold over 20 million albums and has 16 gold, platinum and multi-platinum albums, led by two platinum albums. Why not me And Judas is the greatest hit.

Although this is The Juds’ first performance at the CMT Music Awards, they are not unfamiliar with the event. Wynonna performed with Kid Rock to open the 2011 awards show, while Naomi served as show presenter in both 2008 and 2009.
