McGregor was charged with dangerous driving, as well as driving without insurance and a license, and failing to produce a certificate of insurance or license.

McGregor did not speak during court appearances. He was handed a copy of the chargesheet.

McGregor’s lawyer, Michael Steins, told the court that McGregor’s license and insurance were shown to police Thursday.

McGregor has been granted bail and will appear in the same court on June 23.

McGregor has not fought since losing to Dustin Poirier in UFC 264 in July and injuring his left leg.

Speaking to the media outside the court, McGregor said he was looking forward to a “direct return” to the training.
